Bug Fix: Field Maintenance Display Issue Resolved

We’re pleased to inform you that we’ve resolved an issue with field maintenance where non-mandatory fields were not appearing on the IBE. Here are the key details:

  • What was the issue?
    Fields in field maintenance that were not marked as mandatory were not displaying on the IBE Guest Page.
  • What does the fix do?
    All fields will now show on the IBE, regardless of whether they are marked as mandatory or not.
  • When's it available and where?
    The fix is live now in all IBE environments.
  • What value does this have to your property?
    This enhancement allows you to capture specific guest information that is relevant to your property, ensuring a more tailored guest experience.

Bug Fix: Payment Gateway Sync Issue Resolved!

We’ve addressed an issue where payments were processed successfully but bookings weren't being passed to the PMS system. Here are the details:

  • What was the issue?
    Payments were being received in the payment gateway, but the corresponding bookings were not being registered in the PMS system.
  • What does the fix do?
    Ensures that once a payment is received, the booking will now correctly sync with your PMS system.
  • When's it available and where?
    The fix is live now in all environments of the IBE.
  • What value does this have to your property?
    This resolves booking discrepancies, providing seamless integration between your payment gateway and the PMS, ensuring accurate tracking of guest payments and bookings.
  • Any other notes:
    No specific action is required on your part. The fix is already implemented, and your system should be working as expected.

New Payment Option: Bank Transfer for Online Booking Deposits

We’re excited to introduce a new payment option for your guests—bank transfer for booking deposits! Here’s what you need to know:

  • What is it?
    Bank transfer is now available as an online booking deposit payment option.
  • What does it do?
    Guests can securely pay their booking deposit via online banking.
  • When's it available and where?
    Available now in 9+ Live & IBE Live environments.
  • What value does this have to your property?
    This enhancement provides greater flexibility with payment options, allowing your guests to choose a method they are comfortable with when securing their booking.
  • Any other notes:
    To enable this option, go to Setup > Online Options > Deposits and tick the box to allow bank transfers as a deposit payment option.
    Guests will be prompted with your property's bank details and email address to send their payment receipt.

Introducing Out of Service!

RMS can now set a room as Out of Service. Out of Service will still allow you to book the room in question however will not allow you to check it in. If a room is set to Out of Service, when allocating areas you will see a wrench icon behind the room number\name. A pop up message will appear on check in notifying your team to advise the customer of any works or issues.

Pay By Link Status page, one space to see the status of all Pay By Links.

RMS Pay now has a new feature that allows you to see the status of all Pay By Links sent out to your guests. Each record will show a link to the account number is was sent from how much the link was for, its expiry date and much more. The results on the screen are also printable.
