Resolved issue with a refund exceeding a receipt value when "Pay Owner" is Set to "On Receipt''
A Refund performed for payment taken using a Payment Gateway will physically return the funds to the selected credit card. You cannot refund more than the receipt value.
An issue arose if you attempted to process a refund in an account where the "Pay Owner" setting was set to "On Receipt," it was possible to refund an amount greater than the original receipt value. While this refund appeared successful in RMS, it did not successfully process through the RMS Pay.
We’ve now resolved this issue. If you attempt to refund more than the receipt value, an error message will appear, indicating that the refund exceeds the allowed amount.
